AI has percolated deep into several
domains due to its direct application and impact in problem solving with
greater accuracy. There are numerous real-world problems, for which traditional
computational techniques have proved to be inefficient,’ P.Shamugavadivu,
Professor, Department of Computer Science and Applications, Gandhigram Rural
Institute, Dindigul, told the students.
Speaking on the relevance of AI to
entrepreneurship, he explained that problem solving is accelerated through AI
and its off-shoots Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL).
The potential of
AI is thoroughly exploited by natural language processing for machine
translation, language translation, and document summarization. These
innovations have opened up new avenues in the arena of start-ups, he said. The
workshop was aimed at bringing out the present prospects and future scope of AI
for entrepreneurship right from small to large-scale.
Students, irrespective of the
discipline would be motivated to acquire technical knowledge through online
courses offered by MHRD under SWAYAM and spoken tutorials.
The proactive
measure on entrepreneurship opportunities in AI will augment the employability
skills of graduates and make them market-ready,
